A software team’s perspective

Your product has more prompts than you think.

Give the writer, checker, grader, and judge their own owners, versions, and tests.

The problem

Your application has an interviewer, an acceptor, a grader, a writer, and a judge. Each has a different job. Their instructions are all running somewhere in the backend.

The team talks about “the AI” as though it were one thing. An answer is poor, but nobody can immediately identify which prompt, model, or handoff caused it.

How Nibuno would handle it

The proposed library groups prompts by product and category. Each has an owner, a defined job, versions, model settings, and related tests. Shared instructions and dependencies make the affected workflows visible.

What you’d compare

Test the changed prompt on its own task and check its downstream handoffs. Passing the writer’s tests does not prove that the checker will interpret the new output correctly.
